DRYPOINT® AC
Low pressure drop, low operating costs: DRYPOINT AC
Due to the characteristics of the system, a strong pressure drop occurs during the operation of compressed-air plants when using conventional adsorption dryers. To compensate for this deficiency, increased compressor performance and therefore higher energy input is required. Cold-regenerated DRYPOINT AC adsorption dryers offer a convincing solution to this problem: they limit the pressure drop, including pre- and afterfilters, to only 0.35 bar on average. In this way, the pressure loss is lowered by 50% compared to conventional constructions. Due to the saved energy costs, the DRYPOINT AC will pay for itself within three years on average.
DRYPOINT® AC adsorption dryers are available in two series:DRYPOINT® AC HP
Drying under high pressure: DRYPOINT AC HP
Where work takes place under high pressure, the demands on the safety and reliability of a system are particularly high, as the compressed air is significantly more contaminated by solid particles, oil and condensate as a result of the enormous compression. DRYPOINT AC HP is the pivot of an efficient and safe high-pressure system. The premium high-pressure dryer reliably and economically removes humidity and contaminations from the compressed air.DRYPOINT AC HP – the solution for extraordinary requirements
The DRYPOINT AC HP convinces in conception, performance and construction details with high added value. DRYPOINT AC HP high-pressure dryers are consistently designed to meet particularly high requirements. All pressurised components are made of stainless steel. Therefore, aggressive condensates which are found during operation on the inner walls of the pipes cannot cause damage in the desiccant container and filter.
Each DRYPOINT AC HP is individually adjusted to the application conditions and customer requirements and thus achieves the highest possible profitability. The DRYPOINT® AC HP advantages at a glance: • Made of stainless steel as standard
• Very long service life
• Trouble-free and fast maintenance
• Easy handling and installation
• Demand-specific dimensioning and settingDRYPOINT® 1M PLUS
Drying made-to-measure (copy 1)
It is particularly cost-effective to dry precisely the quantity of compressed air which the customer actually needs. However, the full saving potential can only be used when this amount of compressed air is dried exactly to the respectively required degree. With this, drying is directly geared to the application itself. What is generally required is highest reliability and immediate availability of the compressed air. This applies in equal measure to laboratory purposes, to applications in workshops or outdoors, whether mobile or stationary.DRYPOINT M PLUS, the all-in-one for filtration and drying The DRYPOINT M PLUS membrane dryer with an integrated nanofilter is the innovative solution for efficient filtration and drying in one housing. It offers reliable compressed-air drying at a constant compressed-air temperature, saves energy through low purge air demand and does not need polluting desiccants. In addition, filtration, which is directly connected ahead, prevents condensation upstream of the membrane.Efficiency in a minimum of space: DRYPOINT M PLUS
With the integration of compressed-air filter and membrane dryer in one housing, the DRYPOINT M PLUS offers highest safety and flexibility to the operator. Due to its compact size, it is suitable for employment in a wide range of space situations.
Drying of the compressed air is implemented in accordance with the physical principle of diffusion through a semi-permeable membrane. This is particularly efficient and energy-saving thanks to the TWIST 60 technology from BEKO TECHNOLOGIES. The special winding of the fibres in the membrane element leads to optimum flow around the membrane fibres at a lower construction height and reduces the purge air demand. All modules of the DRYPOINT M PLUS are very easy to maintain, they operate almost silently and do not require electric energy. The DRYPOINT® M PLUS advantages at a glance: • All-in-one: filtration and drying in one housing
• Optimum filtration directly upstream of the membrane
• Twist-60 technology for highest efficiency
• Easy replacement of the filter elements, low maintenance requirements
• Integrated drainDRYPOINT® RA
DRYPOINT® RA: An investment that pays off
It is not the investment costs that determine the cost efficiency calculation regarding refrigeration dryers – but the operating costs. Considering an operating period of five years, only between 20 and 30 per cent of the total costs are allotted to the pure investment, while 70 to 80 per cent are allotted to the ongoing operating costs.
These costs are split equally between electricity costs, flow resistances in the system and compressed air losses through leaks. Pressure drop at critical spots must be compensated by enhanced compressor performance and the resulting additional energy demand. With DRYPOINT RA, these operating costs can be reduced by almost half, considering a period of time of five years. In the return-on-investment calculation, the full potential of the new refrigeration-dryer generation is proven: the dryers pay off within an operation time of only six months. In use everywhere: DRYPOINT-types and applications The air-cooled DRYPOINT RA compressed air refrigeration dryers complement the BEKO TECHNOLOGIES dryer programme with another cost effective alternative. The comprehensive RA model range of products allows optimum adaptation of the compressed air processing to individual operating conditions. All models excel in minimum pressure loss even with varying work loads and in their low energy consumption. The standard series comprises refrigeration dryers with performances from 20 to 8800 m³/h.For special applications: DRYPOINT® RA TAC:

In the DRYPOINT RA, compressed air drying takes place via an optimum heat exchange through a counter-flow process over the cooling surface; the air flows constantly in a downward movement without turbulence.
This generously dimensioned counter-flow heat exchanger, which includes an air/air and an air/refrigerant heat exchanger, cools the compressed air down to a temperature of +3°C. The size of the heat exchanger not only supports a particularly effective cooling, but also reduces the flow resistance to an absolute minimum.Condensate drainage and drying centrally controlled For the DRYPOINT RA , the condensate drainage was integrated in the device concept: the refrigeration dryers are equipped with a BEKOMAT as standard. Besides the functional control of the dryer, the DMC 18 system control also takes over the control and supervision of the level-controlled condensate drain, including the indication of any service messages.
In the DMC 24 control, an Advanced Draining System (ADS) records the status indications of the condensate drain and activates a corresponding alarm. Even the test function of the drain can be triggered centrally via the control. The DRYPOINT® RA advantages at a glance: • Best drying through highly efficient heat exchanger combination
• Very high profitability, lowest energy consumption
• Lowest pressure loss, even at varying loads
• BEKOMAT inside
